For the past couple of years, Sony introduced that they would certainly not be going to E3, which is arguably one of the most significant events of the year for all things gaming related. Nonetheless, it seems that to fill up the void left by Sony, Nintendo has lately validated that they will be in presence at E3 2020 this year.
The ESA (the organizers of the event) recently published a press release in which it confirmed that Nintendo will be one of the attendees this year. “Several leading video game companies have already committed to participating in E3 2020, including Xbox, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Bethesda Softworks, SEGA, Capcom, Square Enix, Take-Two Interactive Software, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc., and Warner Bros. Games, among others.”
Nonetheless, this shouldn’t indeed have come as a surprise as previously this year, Nintendo’s President of America Doug Bowser validated with The Hollywood Reporter that they intend to participate in the occasion this year.
“We anticipate participating in E3 2020. It is just one of lots of ideal places for us this year to communicate with individuals in a social as well as immersive setting. Each year, we base our strategy to E3 on the content we have to share.”
It is unclear regarding what new games or equipment Nintendo has planned for the event, so we will have to wait as well as see.
